Of course, I hasten to add that I’m sure my experiences with Google + will be better than with Facebook. Why? Circles, people. It has circles. Which as I understand it means that I have more control over who sees what I post. And that feature alone will make me happy. I hope.
Mike, I went for a couple of years not posting anywhere and I liked it. But then one day I decided that I was ready to be connected again, so I started this blog. Now I’m kind of jazzed about social media again, but I’m taking it very slowly– and quietly– as I go.
la p, glad that you like this video. I laughed so hard that I was crying. So true.
There could have been 20 reasons or more! However, I love keeping up with some of what people are doing. Some do over post or go all dramatic, but in real life, they are that way too, so I consider the source. 🙂
Margaret, there really are about 20 more reasons, aren’t there? I think considering the source is wise advice. But then if everyone was all wise about FB, there’d be no cute little video like this one!
I can’t believe that I’m actually going on FB to see pictures of new twins, verify the diagnosis for Billie the dog (no cancer) and such. Sad. But it’s less intrusive than calling to ask potentially sensitive questions.

This is Day 2 of not posting anything on FB, Twitter, or G+. If I can hold out for a week, I’m fairly sure I can hold out forever.

Cindy, you make a very good point that I’d not thought of before. It is a gentler way to find out those sorts of things. Smart thinking.
