The moon. Sunday morning.
In a cloudless sky.
Pretty. Inspiring. Unexpectedly perfect.
Looking like someone had painted it above my head as part of a set decoration.
Like an artist’s interpretation of what the moon is supposed to look like in the early morning hours.
When you see it while sitting on your deck, drinking your morning coffee.
Tending your own thoughts, wondering if it might be time to get back to blogging again.
Deciding that it is…
So how’ve you been? What’s new, kids?
I’ve missed you. Mean it!
Looks like a worn-out ball floating in a lake – can even see the craters – WOW!
Welcome back! You know what I’ve been doing since I’ve been doing it with you – Tee-hee.

Zen-Den, I thought this photo was amazing, taken with a point and shoot camera whilst sitting on our deck. Sometimes I think we forget how advanced things are in our lives now compared to how things used to be. How’s that for some profundity?! š¤

Welcome back! I enjoyed looking at “your” moon while sitting at my desk drinking my tea this morning. La Bella Luna!
Let’s see, what’s new?
Pillows. We got 4 new pillows . . . for improved slumber. :zzzz:
I got new prescription sunglasses . . . all the better to see you with. š
I tried Golden Kiwis for the first time and LOVED them.

nancy, it’s always Bella Luna for the win, isn’t it?! New pillows, which are great, serve to remind me that I need to buy new pillows more often, but then I never do. I’ve never heard of golden kiwis, but they do sound yummy. Will look for them.

Welcome back! Unfortunately my Starbucks has a broken espresso machine so there was no coffee for me this morning. Your photo looks great.

Kate, a broken expresso machine at Star$! Well, I’ve never heard of such a thing. I’m sad for you, it just seems so wrong.

There is another SB across the street from the grocery store we shop at. Fortunately today was a scheduled stop there so I went across the street. Over the past 10 years that we’ve had SB there have been a few (less than 5) occasions where equipment wasn’t working. One time it was the regular coffee brewer. Can you imagine a coffee shop that couldn’t sell coffee in the morning? You had to get an espresso drink!

A coffee shop without coffee sounds like the basis of a SNL skit. Our nearest Star$ is not close enough for me to make it a daily event, but now I wonder if they ever have run out of coffee. I’d be irritated IF I did get there and there was NO COFFEE. š¤Ø

Ally Bean is back! That’s happy news indeed. New in my life–soup, lots and lots of crockpot soup recipes waiting to be enjoyed now that the cooler weather has arrived. First on the list was the annual “welcome back autumn split pea” recipe.

Oh happy dance! So many of my blogging buddies have taken āa little time offā then never came back (Iām looking at you, Sammy). Funny, just the other day I checked your site just to make sure I havenāt missed a post… then I saw your note about returning in October (wait, does that make me sound like a stalker?). Welcome back.

Janis, I like thinking of you as my stalker. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy and appreciated. I know what you mean about bloggers… just… disappearing… forever. It is confounding, but I’m back having successfully done nothing for a few weeks. š

Nice moon, Bean (see what I did there). Welcome back! I’m dipping a toe in again after a month. Finished a writing project that turns out isn’t actually due for a little bit still (date wasn’t clear when I started). Anyhoo…. YAY! BLOGGING! Kermit Muppet Flail!
