The skies were unbelievably clear on Sunday morning. Memorable, even. The colors of our world looked spectacular.
Because of this we decided to go for a walk around a city park.
The park was almost deserted, despite it being a beautiful day. No one else wanted to enjoy nature, I guess.
Here are few photos. Just because.

bitsfromheaven, thank you. Some weeks there’s no time for words… so pics will have to do. Hope you enjoy your Easter, too.

joey, it really was so pretty outside. No haze, just sunshine. We need more days like this one around here.

Kate, there’s nothing quite as uplifting as seeing Spring appear after Winter. The park was so peaceful and pretty. Enjoy your holiday… & your lemon meringue pie! 🙂

Just because is enough! What a lovely bright blue sky against that white building – no one could resist going outside. Love that perky brown defying daffy in the second picture. Smiles to you and yours as you enjoy Easter

philmouse, after Winter gray skies Sunday’s blue was amazing. The park was fun because no one was around to get in my way when I wanted to photograph something– and no one was around to scold me when I walked where I wasn’t supposed to while taking some of these photos! Hope your Easter is enjoyable, too.

Here’s to Real Spring, with more Warm Sun, warmer temperatures, and (whispering so as not to alert the Gods Of Winter) putting away the snow shovels at last.

nance, I’m with you on the real Spring idea. We don’t always get one around here, but so far, even if this is early, Spring is looking great. Of course, knowing our weather patterns, next week I might be wearing boots again, and muttering about shovels…

What beautiful pictures! Spring is a bit up and down still. It started really early then went away for a week or so. Been an odd year overall. It’s nice to have those blue skies back.
But what happened to the waffles?

Zazzy, our weather has been unseasonably warm. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a March this pretty. Fingers crossed that we have a long and lovely Spring season.
[The waffles are a future post. I accidentally hit publish by mistake. I’m trying to do too much at once today.]

Thanks John. It seems odd to have Easter this early, but with sunny days around I can go with it!

I kind of like it early. I like starting Lent in February.
Mary and I were born during the month Easter happens (Mar 23-Apr 23), as was my Mom. I was born Palm Sunday, Mary and my mom on Holy Saturday, and Mom died on Good Friday. Kind of fun, really…

I can see why you like Easter season, no matter when it might be. So much for you and your family to celebrate all at once. What fun!

You have real signs of spring – green haze on the trees and flowers in bloom.
In contrast, we’re expecting snow and freezing rain today and tomorrow. Sigh. I like your’s better 🙂

Joanne, this is not our normal March weather. Many years we have snow flurries into early April, but not this year. I won’t lie, I like this weather. I’m sure your pretty days will be here soon. Maybe they’ll be here early, too!

I admit I’ve really been enjoying this version of winter too. The last 2 were so difficult, this has been a nice change.
It will be nice to see some colour again outdoors 🙂

Thanks for your tribute to spring with the lovely photos. Such a beautiful area! I’ve been seeing daffodils everywhere, both on a recent trip to Washington and also here in Southern California. Finally bought some to put in a vase at home for St. Patrick’s Day.

carlamcgill, I love daffodils. They come in so many varieties, and I swear you cannot get a bad picture of them! Around here they steal the show over tulips, which I usually end up buying to put in a vase.

You should see our snowstorm! I bet we have two feet of snow. It is insane and a lot more like winter….

Thanks susie! TWO feet of snow?! Ugh. Some years are winters hang on into April, but with flurries not snow accumulation. You poor dear, what a mess to deal with at Eastertime. Where does the Easter Bunny leave his eggs and candy if there’s snow everywhere?

Kourtney, it was fun for us to be wandering around without any people. It was like we were on our private estate grounds! I agree about getting outside. Made me happy. Hope your Easter is wonderful, too.

I love all of the contrasting colors in your photos—-blues, yellows, greens, reds, against the still brown paths and trees. Spring is definitely a time of renewed hope. I hope the Easter bunny finds you Sunday:) Enjoy!

Nancy, it’s unusual for us to be this far along into Spring this early, but now that it’s here, I’m pleased as can be about it. Hope your holiday is a happy one.
